Observation details
Ebird Reviewer believes this is a Hammonds. I don't for the following reasons. Nevertheless I will list this as unknown.Best guess is this is a Willow based on head shape, longer tail and very narrow eyering, almost not there on the frontside. There was Wood pewee hanging around this week but this bird is not a pewee. The pewee had a different head shape and windbar structure and behavior. I thought maybe a Hammonds but again the eyering seems too narrow and the tail seems longer. The bill seems a little small for a willow but that may be the perspective and there is a range of bill sizes. I added a second image from the back showing decent primary projections. That would be consistent with a Willow (or a Hammonds) but not with a Dusky or Gray. Again given the very narrow eyeing and the tail length this strongly suggests a Willow.
