Observation details
Plump vireo with bold white wingbars and dull yellow spectacles, namesake yellow throat and breast; white on belly thru undertail coverts; yellow shades to dull olive on face and crown; wing panel clean gray with white wingbars. Alerted to its presence by the lilting up and down song with slight pauses between each phrase; call a loud, rapid paced buzzy chatter/scold. It ranged widely back and forth from 33.6464491, -117.9400520 - in the riparian zone east of the parking area, to the lawn and picnic table area to the immediate west of the parking lot - a straight line distance of 150+ meters. Thanks to Edana Salisbury for preparing my recording, my first for eBird entry.
