Observation details
As expected they were in the trees around and adjacent to the southern pond (nearest Dandenong Road). Considerable sounds of calling and multiple sightings of one to three birds at a time in trees or moving between trees. Eventually sighted four birds in one tree and another in a nearby tree to confirm a total of five birds present. One adult male; red head, chest and belly. Four birds with green head and chest with red belly and suggests this represents one adult female and three immatures.
