Observation details
Wonderful, majestic life birds. At first one, no. 19 perched beneath the bridge preening now and then, its head mainly obscured. Then it slowly got ready to fly and flew! Two others showed up, one tagged K6 and the other tagged C2 (I think). All three flew in the area of the bridge, occasionally landing in niches in the cliffs. Some flew nearby or low and put on quite a show. Large dark birds with broad white stripes on the underwings (except the immature), long "fingers" at the ends of the wings, bare heads, long bare necks stretched out sometimes, and a ruff of feathers at the base of the neck.
