Observation details
3 birds in a group, and a separate male singing "pleased-pleased to meet you" in a different location. All were foraging in dense scrub willow stands. Fuzzy pics, but the best I could get under poor lighting and high wind conditions. However, the field marks can clearly be seen: black malar stripe and white cheek, yellow wing bars, and chestnut stripe just below the wing. Cocked tail. Were easily ID'd with high-powered binoculars before pics were taken.
