Observation details
specimen collected March 1953 in Bahia de Gibara by Dr. Joaquin Fernandez de la Vara, confirmed by Orlando Garrido. Originally called a Parasitic Jaeger, but in Sixteenth Supplement, 1971, page 12, James Bond says that Garrido believes this specimen is actually a Long-tailed Jaeger. Specimen catalog # 0-181 in Museo de Historia Natural de Gibara, Holguin, Cuba. Exact day of month of collection is not recorded on the label. Photo of specimen is attached, per Nils Navarro.
