Media notes
Two segments, second of which is better. Brown Thrasher at the top of a large silver maple adjacent to meadow, wetlands and a pond, and near woods. Two recording segments of the same bird. The second one begins about 3 minutes after the first began. I believe I was closer for the second segment. Microphone was therefore more vertical than horizontal. A second BRTH was singing on the edge of woods "a couple hundred feet away". One or two singing Thrashers have been a daily presence, continuing to at least 04/30/2024
