Observation details
One appeared to be paired with ABTO 300m below the dam directly along riparian. I first saw it carrying a mouthful of insects with which it dove to cover and I heard begging calls typical of towhees (feeding not directly observed). This individual was always in the same general area as a lone ABTO and could sometimes be seen at the same time, but never seen *directly* interacting, though I did hear an interaction squeal once (I never saw or heard two individuals of either species at any point). Later on, it perched on a dead branch directly above fledglings, giving quiet song while the ABTO fed the fledglings. The second was 50m below dam in desert
