Observation details
Singing along the canal near Hindsburg Road in the general area of many of warblers, particularly Palms, Nashvilles and Yellow-rumps. All renditions very buzzy, with the first note higher, above 8kHz followed by 3-4 even buzzes somewhat lower. This is the pattern of and general sound of a Golden-winged Warbler. However, I would expect the first note to be longer. And that aside, without visual confirmation (impossible on the other side of the canal) a definite ID isn't possible.
