Observation details
Bird calling from point where cottonwoods are closest to the road, at about 33.100194, -116.477522, moving a bit from time to time. Overall, the vocalizations were rather subdued, with no boisterous duetting, etc. Calling regularly but at a fairly low rate. No visual contact, at least none with a definitive look. I managed to get some recordings when the wind was low and with no nearby traffic. The first recoding is a series of chirps. The second recording has a couple of whit calls, which overall were not heard often. The last recording has some chirps transitioning to a few burry calls, which were about the most boisterous calls heard this afternoon. Known summering location for this species.
