Observation details
As I came down from the parking area at Avenue G and Wellington and had just started out on the estuary, saw a flutter on the north side of the estuary waterway many yards out, which attracted a crow, crow came in and attacked the smaller bird, followed by another crow, and the two managed to attract more crows and the murder did the petrel in, at which point a raven came in and took the petrel from the crows and carried it from the beach to a tree perch. Photos are a little blurry as there was a lot of movement and the group moved farther away in short order, but including for timeline.
