reported by many here in recent days. on eastern slope near the reservoir. photos and audio taken, and will be uploaded. recorded "whit" call different from Hammond's "peek" recorded a few minutes earlier a bit farther down the slope to the east. lighter, lower contrast in color overall than the Hammond's, with tail that appeared longer due to shorter primary extensions. tail also appeared less forked than Hammond's. more rounded less peaked head compared to Hammond's.
