Observation details
Bird was found the previous day and photos circulated to various experts. It was suspected to ne a Nutting's when I arrived to observe it. I believe my photos support the Nutting's ID. Rufous in webs of tail feather extending to terminal end. Small bill. Fairly prominent wing bar for the genus. I heard later that in the inside of the mouth was seen and a recording was eventually obtained. While I was there none of the observers 10 or more were unable to hear or record and vocalization. Some persisited after I left
