Observation details
Found this online....interesting Yellow plumage in male house finches is derived from ingesting carotenoids present in their diet, adding a unique hue to their appearance. However, the significance of yellow plumage in terms of mate selection or survival strategies remains uncertain. Despite this ambiguity, the rarity of yellow males among house finches makes them an intriguing subject for birdwatchers and researchers alike.
