Observation details
Female was in the White Cedar Tree up from the flagpole. The male was in the Lemon-scented Gumtree on the same lower perch as yesterday facing 300° North-west. Second consecutive day on same perch. This perch puts the tree trunk right at the back of the bird which in turn is shielding the bird from the cold southerly wind blowing. Interesting to note the birds toes were in different positions to this mornings observations indicating the bird shuffles, shifts or changes positions slightly throughout the day.
