Observation details
5 other birders saw the sage thrasher near the east-side of the hollyburn sailing club area. Sage thrasher had a thrush-like pose when standing, and it frequently ran for a few feet in the sand before it stood or ate an insect, and kept running again before it stood again, in a repeated fashion. It seems to be comfortable with and not spooked by non birders that were only 15 ft or so away.
