Observation details
Mega. Continuing bird found yesterday by Marshall Iliff. Sat still in one spot on the south side of the peninsula for at least half an hour before flying briefly out of site. Seen again about fifteen minutes later being chased by a semipalmated plover. Slightly larger than semi, with wider, broken neck-ring and no webbing between the toes. Also slightly grayer back and all-black bill (no orange-yellow at gape). Vocalized several times.
