Observation details
Tentative ID only here based on discussions of my betters. Emma Mathis obtained a video of the bird eating earlier in the day which includes a visual of the bird’s mouth interior (orange not pink). Willie Sekula also has a great photo of the interior of the birds’s mouth (orange) that he obtained subsequently on a separate report. Attached here is a photo I got showing the interior of the birds mouth being orange as well. Limited audio previously posted also seems to line up with a Nutting’s per Ryan Rodriguez et. al. Photos to follow. Audio also re-added here, which is the last of five unsolicited calls emanating from the bird while I was watching it around 12:44pm today. Calls were in quick succession spanning about 10 seconds total.
