Observation details
Continuing bird singing near the second creek crossing. Yellow underside with orange wash on throat. Lacked dark “necklace” and no trace of eye arcs - both traits typical of NOPA. FYI, we noted another bird further up the trail with a single upper eye arc only (possible/presumed hybrid) and a third bird which (not surprisingly) flagged in Merlin as TRPA but had distinct eye arcs and necklace indicative of NOPA.
