Observation details
One seen along northwest side of loop, flycatching from perches in the tops of two dead oaks at (37.41619, -122.17978). Spotted by Deborah and seen well by all of us for quite a while, while we also watched a male Lazuli Bunting! White hip patches and dark vest apparent. We saw the flycatcher again when we rounded the corner on the trail and viewed these snags from a different angle. Later, we were surprised to spot another Olive-sided Flycatcher, perched in a dead eucalyptus, while we were watching orioles in the eucalyptus and palm trees by the Piers Lane gate.
