Observation details
Poor photos. Multiple short looks at this bird, which looked much like a Blue-winged Warbler but was very washed out, without extensive bright yellow throughout the underparts (more of a clear, pale yellow). By far the brightest yellow was on the forecrown, like Golden-winged Warbler. I believe it showed a pale whitish patch to its breast, although that didn't show up well in photos, as well as distinct gray to its cheek/lower rear neck. Muted olive upperparts and its lower wingbar looks to have been partially tinged yellow, too. Seen on the Old Forest Loop just in from the eastern parking lot.
