Observation details
From the river, walking down to the Warner Brothers gate, I observed orioles flying in, out, & around some palms. From other experiences, I knew palms to be a common choice for nesting orioles. I observed the birds for a while, then continued on my walk. Later, as I was walking back towards the grassy park area, I saw a path just past the oriole palms, which lead up to the street at Fairview & Valley Heart. I walked up & turn back, walking along Valley Heart to the palms, hoping to get a closer look. I took the photo below of a singing male. As I watched, he flew into a tree just in back of the palms. There was a female. The 2 flew around, in what appeared to me to be some sort of courtship ritual.
