Observation details
At first I noticed 1 Eurasian-tree Sparrow, then noticed another perched next to the first one in Boxelder tree near feeders. Slightly smaller than House Sparrow, had brown cap, black bill, small black bib, brown back, gray underparts, white collar broken at back of neck, and black cheek spot. Perching in bush with House Sparrows, and foraging under feeder with House Sparrows, Red-Wing Blackbirds, Brown-Headed Cowbirds, Common Grackles, White-Throated Sparrows, American Tree-Sparrows, ect. My Dad got good photos through a spotting scope I bought recently, so probably didn't need description but was fun anyway. Exactly 8 days before same day seen last year 5/6/23.
