Observation details
Flushed from ground on dirt trail west of lighthouse north of picnic area. Gave a great, long look but camera wouldn’t turn on. Ended up firing off multiple shots through my binoculars with iPhone. Came back 30 minutes later and found the bird just north of the trail walking amongst palm leaf ground cover. Camera worked briefly, thankfully.
