Media notes
Two songs (the second with raindrops) of a Rufous-vented Tapaculo from understory down the Garcia Trail. It was blue-gray, with orangy-rufous belly, vent, under tail coverts & and flanks (which are very finely barred with black). This was along a trail from a developing community just down E from our campsite near what is now called Trocha Sunangel. Background includes: Brown Tinamou & Common Chlorospingus. Digitized from original tape recording on a Sony TCM5000, with a Sennheiser series mic with a Mineroff booster & foam windscreen.
