Observation details
6:50 p.m., Ibises, willets, and stilts, (same exact counts of all 3 as Sheridan Coffey & Martin Reid earlier this afternoon) all together with one spotted sandpiper on the first sandy spit visible behind the closest stand of dead trees in the water. At times, all four visible in same scoped view. By the time we left about an hour later, stilts in same place, willets had moved to the next spit back, and ibises were no longer in view. Stilts: slender shorebirds with long pink legs and long necks, hard-to-mistake black & white pattern. Actively foraging. 2 distant photos.
