Observation details

Day 3 of the cruise, this species was an early treat. Light was not excellent but was able to see a pale face, white at bill base, gray back, and a pear-shaped body (heavy in front, tailored in rear). High-arcing flight. Had countless comparisons to Leach's Storm Petrel and Sooty Shearwater. Photos, some distant, others better.
