Observation details
Same area as Dusky Flycatcher was the other day. Continuously picked up on Merlin as a Gray Flycatcher. I am second guessing this Id as well as the Dusky the other day, however I am still leaning towards Dusky as song sounded more consistent with Dusky when playing back on Sibley App. Am still seeing a mostly dark bill, especially when bill is turned up in one pic from singing. Some pics it looks more like Dusky tail and others it looks more like Gray tail. Also have video of bird singing. Watching video, it was not “wagging” its tail as much as Gray was in another video online. Was mostly moving tail when singing SPECIES CHANGE to Gray Flycatcher 4/30: due to odds of this being the same bird as the one 2 days ago and for reasons mentioned in previous observation of this bird
