Observation details
Initially, briefly on a rock in the middle of the river, then it flew off upstream. It returned and I watched it for a number of minutes. Mostly it was stood in shallow water mid stream and among rocks, picking food from on/in the river but it also spent some more time on the rocks and then perched on an overhanging branch.
