Observation details
Reported several days ago and earlier today by Regi. Looks like adult birds in breeding plumage. Dark red bill that didn’t seem as heavy as the Laughing gulls that we’ve all seen. Black hood with white eye arcs. Upper wing are gray with white trailing edges, white bar near the tip. The tip is black and showing some white too. White tail, black legs and feet. I’m definitely not a gull pro…. But it appears to me that the four birds are Franklin’s. Pictures showing each of the four birds. Looking at the primary tips of bird 1 and 2, the white spots looks big. On bird 3 and 4, white and black is visible on both birds. The next seven pictures are various gulls in flight.
