Observation details
Photo'd. Female. If our memories serve us correctly, this bird was seen from the observation platform while we overlooked the main waterhole around 10:20am. To our knowledge, Victor did not see it as he was working the surrounding woods at the time. There was discussion this could be a Swamp Flycatcher. However, points favoring female EPFL include: white in wing (in photo, partially seen on bird's right wing), long primary extension and/or long wings (in photo, bird's left wingtip can be seen jutting below the limb and looking too long for SWFL), and white in outer tail (seen in photo along edge of outer undertail on bird's right side).
