Observation details
Beautiful blue shining beacon of the spirit of vagrancy. Bird appeared in back of tree near house after 40 minutes of waiting and then flew off thanks to a passing car blasting Eminen. Thankfully it reappeared after about 12 minutes, first on nearby trees, then on the feeder, where it chowed down in the company of House Sparrows. A slightly chunky songbird with a conical, gray bill; signature bright lazuli blue back, white wingbars, peachy breast, some peach color on top of blue head. Thank you to homeowners & patient neighbors!
