Observation details
Photos in flight at a long range. Generally seen heading north. It did, however, look like it was going to settle down in a flooded field (approximately here: 35.266583, -90.066972), so I booked it back over there, but when I arrived, I couldn't find any ibis in that field or any of the adjacent ones either! Argh. Too distant to make out its diagnostic facial features so has to go down as a spuh. All dark, long, and spindly, with an incredibly thin neck; long, decurved bill; and long legs.
