Observation details
Courtship flight display complete with barrel rolls. The head-on shots are of an adult male dive bombing me. A female carrying nest material emitted an alarm call and the male immediately started diving at me until I had moved away. The skydance sequence is I believe a young male with brown back and streaking. Zooming in on the eye indicated a light gray iris and not the chocolate brown reported for immature females or the yellow of an adult male. He was repeatedly displaying giving me manty opportunities to photography his display.
