Observation details
Patch bird! A flock foraging together on the flooded cricket field. About the same size as LEYE but dumpier, with duller yellow and longer legs, curved bill, more barring underneath, and subtle orange patch on crown and cheek. Was hoping to get these in the marsh later this spring maybe, but glad to get them today!
