Another pigeon sunk in the snow to forage. It was in this position foraging. You can see behind it the impression made by the pigeon that dislodged itself previously.
Observation details
4 flew to our feeding station. Then there were 6 in a flock. The new snow was about 2 inches on harder snow. The pigeons landed and sunk in it while foraging on the ground. Watching them get themselves out of the snow was interesting.
