Media notes
Two successive cuts of the same Gray-winged Inca-Finches singing from the shrubby slopes above Hacienda Limón—the first unnsolicited songs of a male sitting up on our side of the slope and another individual answering him across the canyon. This was 9:15am after rain shower at 2580m. The second cut is after playback of the first cut—which brought the birds closer. Background includes: House Wren, Golden-billed Saltator. Digitized from original tape recording on a Sony TCM5000, with a Sennheiser series mic with a Mineroff booster & foam windscreen.
