Media notes
A Line-cheeked Spinetail, of the race baroni, sings spontaneously and then—a few minutes later—after playback from the shrub- and alder-covered slopes at 10,180’ elev., near our roadside campsite a short way below Molino Viejo. Background includes: wood-chopping, a rooster, and what I think is a second Line-cheeked Spinetail giving quiet calls. Digitized from original tape recording on a Sony TCM5000, with a Mineroff booster & a Sennheiser series mic with foam windscreen.
