Observation details
Continuing rarity, originally spotted by Dave Guertin. Associating with GRYE and LEYE, foraging on edge of island viewed perpendicularly from railroad tracks. Warm/honey-ish brown sandpiper with silhouette akin to pectoral, but with orange legs and distinctive white patch at base of the bill. Smaller/browner/shorter-billed than nearby yellowlegs. VERY COOL.
