Observation details
Like Northern Waterthrush, but legs brighter pink, white supercilium widening from eye towards nape, thicker and more widely spaced streaks on breast. It often waded into the stream and picked prey carried past by the current. When walking, the tail bobbed -- difficult to tell if straight up-and-down or with slight lateral motion as well.
