Observation details
I was standing in the driveway observing the variety of birds landing in the trees at the house on the hill. I noticed this dark bird just smaller then the Tanagers in the same tree. I moved on and waited until I got home and realised that the Ffrench Guide to the Birds of Trinidad and Tobago did not have any thing comparable. I emailed David Ramal with these images and he verified that it was an immature Sooty Grassquit. Number 206 for our T&T trip.
