Media notes
The ascending buzz is segmented into 3 sections. I cut 8, 11, and 60 seconds of additional birdsong in between these three.
Observation details
FOY at parking lot 6:47, 2nd by river, more throughout, certainly more than 8. I appreciated how different the two uploaded vocalizations were. Is this just a younger and older bird? Did they learn their songs in different regions? or is this just a borrowed bit of the Dawn Song creeping into the regular song? The dawn song has some segmenting with some additional chips, but in Macaulay Library, similar sounding birds were recorded in New York, New Hampshire, the Carolinas, and Florida, as far back as 1953 to April 2024.
