Observation details
In same location in the tree where days ago saw Cooper's Hawk. Deleted my original comment of thinking this was a Sharp-shinned Hawk because a volunteer from ebird sent me email correcting my mistake! I was hoping for that and am super impressed that ebird has wonderful volunteers who do this. Thank you very much!!!! And, I am excited that we have a Broad-winged Hawk! Added another photo of him in flight - it isn't a very good image, but it clearly shows the distinctive wide black band and the white one above it. Also, after correcting it, I got the message that this is rare for this date and location - but I canged it based on the ebird volunteer's expertise.
