Observation details
Flagged as RARE. Early migrant singing right where they nest every year in shrubby overgrown fields. Full of thorny droopy “canes” of what looks like multiflora rose or something like. Heard only. “Pleased-pleased-pleased to meet ya’.” Stands out from American Redstart and Louisiana Waterthrush also singing in same areas. Audio file TBA. Chestnut-sided sings at 8.5, 20.6 and 33 seconds approximately.
