Media notes
This is the song of the "Palmer's" subspecies - a "Wit-Weet" - Pieplow's naming. A Cooper's Hawk was in the same area as this bird. When the hawk flew away it looked like it had prey. So, the bird may have been in an agitated state. Only processing is applying a 300Hz High Pass Filter and then normalizing to -3db in Audacity. Each audio file of this species is believed to be of different birds.
