Observation details
near river. Looked buffy yellow to me, but maybe that was just its rump. Did a lot of bobbing. Took a lot of pictures because I know they are very similar to Northern Waterthrush. It's eyebrow stripe doesn't seem to flare so much as it kinks. My field guide book wasn't helpful, so I had to refer to Sibley's guide online
