Observation details
One adult GH owl next to nest with one owlet (they were probably watching the owlet on the ground). One owlet on ground under nest (looked like it recently fledged). One adult flying to nearby trees. At one point, the owl that was not next to the nest started hooting, and then some Am crows started to harass it. I think the owl started hooting to draw the crows away from the owlets. Eventually the adult next to the nest left (probably to check on the owlet on the ground), and the owlet in the tree settled back into the nest.
