Observation details
These two sparrows were near each other - both singing and calling. The brown sparrow’s song sounded appropriate for SOSP as far as cadence, # of notes sung in sequence etc, but had a slightly more “liquidy” feel (like a Lincoln’s sparrow just a little bit). Nothing I would have thought twice about, if he looked more like a typical song sparrow. The brown one sings once in the included recording and the other ‘normal’ song sparrow is doing the warning chip that continues to the end of my recording. This was their response to playback of a songsparrow song.
