NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 4. Bulk reel: 110 *This identification is not certain. See also Cut 1. a) Some nasal calls. These are at a much lower pitch than the calls in Cut 1. I don't know if both of these are given by this species, or even if either one is. In the background of the present cut are some higher-pitched calls like those of Cut 1); they may be of Cercomacra cinerascens; but in all my recordings of that species I have no calls like these, all being quite different. Quality: 1-2. Level: +3. 203 tape. b) The focus is now on the higher-pitched background calls. Until definite identification, they are filed here. *Identification not certain; probably not correct. Quality: 1-2. Level: +3. 203 tape. Note: YES!! There are similar calls in cut 9b of that species. Cf. comment there.
