Observation details
Seen well through scope. In a fluddle off Miller road leaving the State Game Area. Short and stubby plover bill, similar in size to nearby Killdeer. Looking into key features for identification, features noted through the scope support American Golden Plover over Black-bellied. Bill was rather small, not quite as thick as what would be expected for a BBPL. Wingtips extended beyond tail. Grayish overall, had slight golden tones though. White supercilium heavily contrasts with rather dark looking cap.
